DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
The PADI discover scuba
diving course is designed to give you your first taste of scuba diving.
This course covers equipment,the basic techniques
of scuba diving followed by a fun session to increase your confidence. All this in the comfort of a heated swimming pool.
Even if you have no wish to become a qualified scuba diver we still recommend you try the discover scuba diving course for
an unforgettable experience.
PADI OPEN WATER REFERAL COURSE
The PADI open water referal course covers all five confined water dives (swimming pool), all dive theory sessions
and exams.
This course is aimed at the person wishing to become a qualified scuba diver but who prefer to dive in
the warmer waters around the world whilst on holiday.
On completion of this course you will
be issued with a referal form to take to a PADI dive centre of your choice where you can then go on to complete your open
water training and become a qualified scuba diver.
This is a very popular option with people finishing their training
in places like the Red Sea, Australia or the Caribbean.
PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
This is for people wishing to become a fully qualified scuba diver here in the UK.
The course covers all confined water training, dive theory sessions and exams as well as the four open water dives required
to complete your certification.
Upon completion of the PADI open water diver course you will be qualified to dive with
any other certified diver to a maximum depth of 18 meters, in the conditions you were trained in.
PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
The next step after
completing your open water course is to take the PADI advanced open water course. This course allows you to expand your diving
experience and tailor your diving to your own specific interests.
The course
consists of five open water adventure dives, underwater navigation and deep dive together with another three dives of your
choice from the large list of adventure dives available, these could include such things as underwater digital photography,
search and recovery, wreck diving, the list goes on, speak to one of our instructors about the adventure dives on offer.
After completion of this course you will have expanded your knowledge of the world of scuba
diving and be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters.
PADI RESCUE DIVER
COURSE
The PADI rescue diver course is one of the most physicaly demanding
yet rewarding courses on offer in recreational diving. This course covers search and rescue techniques required to assist
in a number of diving related emergencies. The topics covered include both in and out of water rescues, the treatment
of decompression illness, in water rescue breathing and oxygen administration.
Not only does this course increase your
confidence but is also a pre-requesit for becoming either a master scuba diver or PADI dive master.

Map reading and navigation

how to use a compass and plan your routes.
This course covers Map features, grid referances,
magnetic variation, taking and using compass bearings and the construction of route cards.
This
course can be combined with a practical training session on one of our many walks or mountain biking trips.
